Symptoms

This bird likes to dig and makes a mess doing it. If you plant seeds in pots and leave them outside thrashers will dig in the pot and your seeds will probably get tossed out with the dirt. They aren’t looking for the seeds they just dig in everything.

Management

Use bird netting to keep the thrashers away from the pot.

Alternatively, keep pots in doors until the plants are well established and wont get tossed out of the pot by digging thrashers
