I put rice in the bag of date plum seeds to prevent condensation in the bag and tossed the bag in the fridge. I put a reminder on my calendar to plant them in a few months.

2023 February 14

I put a 50/50 mix of potting soil and play sand in a 6 pack and put one seed in each cell. I put the rest of the seeds back in the refrigerator. I watered the seeds in the 6 pack well and put them on a heating mat with the thermostat set to 72F.

2023 April 5

The seeds never germinated. I think they dried out too much. The sandy mix is harder to keep moist than a mostly peat moss mix.
