The muntingia calabura seeds I ordered arrived today. The instructions had a couple approaches for germinating so I did all of them plus my own experiment. There were so many seeds in the package I still had leftovers even after putting seeds in 51 six pack cells, a paper towel, and some directly in (on) the ground. I used a syringe (no needle) to place seeds like this video.

2022 November 3

These seeds never germinated. I recently discovered a journal article that showed the seeds would not germinate in temperatures over 100F. I’m sure I cooked these 😦
