I got a macadamia tetrafilia at the spring CRFG plant sale. I put it in the ground today. I mixed 2 cups of soil sulphur and a tablespoon of Arizona’s Best citrus fertilizer I the backfill and watered it with run off from my AC with some michroriza fungi tossed in. Then covered it with a 50% shade panel so it gets shade starting at noon.

2023 May 25

Applied 14 lbs of 90% agricultural sulfur covering a 10ft diameter circle around the tree.

Applied 7g of 14% Mn EDTA, 7g of 14% Zn EDTA, and 4.5g of 11% Fe DTPA dissolved in a gallon of water from AC runoff.

2023 August 11

This plant turned very crispy. I expect it needed a lot more shade than it got.
