I took home a dragon fruit cutting from a CRFG meeting and put it in a pot of big box potting soil (mostly peat moss) and set the pot where it would get shade after 10am.

Slight cold damage from the winter even though it was under a frost cloth with incandescent lights set on a thermostat to the high 30s (f).
