I bought a Sapodilla from Green Life Nursery.

I planted it in the front yard. I didn’t amend the soil. I only dug a hole big enough for the root ball. Then applied 6 plus inches of mulch. Used 30% shade cover.

2023 May 29

Applied 14lb of 90% agricultural sulfur covering a 10ft diameter circle around the plant.

2023 June 8

The leaves started to get sun burned so I added more planks to the shade cover to increase the shade percentage.

2023 July 27

Not sure this plant is going to make it.

2023 August 11

This plant is completely crispy. I think it needed a lot more shade.
