Frost sensitive, but not cold sensitive. Which means cover it with frost cloth for the winter, but no supplemental heat is required in the Phoenix area.

Cultivars

Varieties with very large leaves and short inter nodes may have better tasting fruit than varieties with smaller leaves and longer inter nodes.^[1]
