2023 September 14

Got paw paw seeds at a CRFG meeting from fruit that some one brought in to sample. I brought them home an put them in the fridge.

2024 March 12

I nicked the seeds and put them in water to soak.

2024 March 13

I put the seeds in moist paper towel in a ziplock bag and put them on a shelf in my office. The heater in the house was set to 70F.

2024 April 19

I have been moving seeds out of the ziplock and into pots filled with 100% horticultural sand as they germinate. There are 4 in pots and 2 left in the ziplock. I think the two in the ziplock I didn’t get all the way through the hard outside of the seed when I nicked them. One of the seeds in a pot is starting to sprout today.
