Use red wiggler worms (1 – 4lb in a full IBC Tote).
1.5 gal/day (6 liters/day) for the original size bioreactor.R The blue spot spitters will put out about 1/4 gallon per minute.
The original size bioreactor accommodates 2,000lbs of organic matter and ends with about 700lbs of finished compost.
Fresh grass should be dried before adding to the bioreactor.
Sawdust will pack tightly and go anaerobic in the bioreactor if added in large quantities.
If applied to the top of the soil the compost must be immediately watered in.
Finished compost quality can be assessed using a microscope. Dilute 2g of wet compost to 50ml of water and ad to a hemocytometer. View at 200x to 400x and count the bacteria and the fungal spores.R
